Hartlepool United boss Chris Turner insists he wants to heap more pressure on Brighton rival Russell Slade’s shoulders and will send his side out to attack at Brighton tomorrow.
The
Seagulls are floundering in the relegation zone and have lost five of their seven home games this season whilst
Hartlepool appear to have turned the corner and are on an upward curve.
"If we can score the first goal tomorrow then that opens up a minefield for their players and supporters,” Turner told the Hartlepool Mail.
"It is a common factor these days that there seems to be this little bit of trepidation in teams playing at home which benefits the away side.
"There doesn't seem to be any pressure on the away team and all the pressure on the home team. When we went to
Swindon we went to attack and scored two goals in the first 20 minutes.
"That's the way we'll play on Saturday. We'll go and try to utilise what we've got in our team."
