Fourth bottom Yeovil host third bottom Orient in a relegation scrap at Huish Park. The Glovers finally recorded their first home win of the campaign after beating rock bottom Crewe 3-2 in midweek and another three points would leave manager Russell Slade delighted.
It looks like being a long season for both sides with Orient winless for eight games but manager Martin Ling is remaining optimistic despite a midweek defeat against Leeds. "It is a relegation fight at this moment - we are below that red line so you can't say it isn't," said Ling. "But it is early in the season and there is plenty of time to battle our way out of trouble.
"I am confident it won't be a relegation fight by the end of the season. We competed well and we were in the game at all times. We have had some poor performances this season but this was a decent one which gives us something to build on."
Ling has added Luton striker Sam Parkin to his squad on loan as he looks to bolster his attacking options but Glovers' boss Slade insists Yeovil's best weapon is their home support. Slade said: "They were magnificent the other night (against Crewe). They were there for one reason and one reason only. Boy did they make themselves heard and they really got behind the team. We will need them there again on Saturday because they really do lift the team when they get going."
CLARKY'S VERDICT: This promises to be a titanic battle as nerves could well take control and both sides will claim a point.
