MK Dons kept up their push for a Coca-Cola League One play-off place with a 1-0 win over Tranmere which came courtesy of a Jason Puncheon strike.

Millwall came through an ill-tempered match at Oldham 1-0 to keep their play-off hopes well on track.

Neil Harris' second half spot-kick was enough to give Millwall the win in a match which contained seven bookings.

Yeovil moved up four places to 12th with a 2-1 win over Exeter at Huish Park.

The Glovers went ahead on six minutes when Stefan Stam rose above a packed penalty box to nod past Paul Jones.

Adam Stansfield's close-range drive restored parity before Ryan Mason hit the winner just before half-time.

Stockport ended a run of 12 straight league defeats with an ugly 0-0 draw against Carlisle.

Scott Dobie was sent off for the visitors for violent conduct with 18 minutes left before Jabo Ibehre received his marching orders for a second booking after a late challenge on Ian Harte.

Colchester failed to reduce the gap on third-placed Charlton as they could only play out a 0-0 draw with Gillingham at the Priestfield Stadium.

In the day's other match, West Ham loanee Josh Payne made an instant impact for Wycombe as he snatched a draw for Gary Waddock's side at Southend, who had taken the lead through an Alan McCormack header.
