Leyton Orient boss Geraint Williams has snapped up experienced striker James Scowcroft on a one-year deal.
Scowcroft, 33, was released by Crystal Palace at the end of last season after scoring 14 goals in three years in south London.
Williams, who played with Scowcroft while the pair were at Ipswich, said: "We've been talking to James for a while and I am really pleased to add him to our squad."
He added: "He's a good player who scores goals and I feel he will have a big part to play for us this season."
