Furious Yeovil boss Terry Skiverton accused referee Paul Tierney of turning his team into a laughing stock in the 2-2 draw with MK Dons at stadium:mk.
Peter Leven's 65th-minute penalty rescued a point for the Dons to end their run of four successive defeats, after goals from Dean Bowditch and Shaun MacDonald had put Yeovil 2-1 up at the break. But Skiverton blamed Tierney for denying the Glovers a second away win of the season after Dons defender David McCracken escaped with just a yellow card for a cynical trip on Bowditch as he looked set to make it 3-1 midway through the first half.
``I'm sick of talking about referees. I think I've got to go back and understand the rules," said Skiverton. ``Dean Bowditch was clear, he was one-on-one with the goalkeeper and about to score. He gets brought down - the man should be sent off."
He added: ``Everyone in the stadium was laughing, and they were laughing at Yeovil Town.
``Every time we come to a big place like this we seem to be getting let down by officials not brave enough to make decisions.
``My boys stood up to the test and they defended like lions at the end.
``We've got some really young players but they were putting their bodies on the line and I really appreciate it.''
Dons manager Paul Ince warned his players they must either improve or be replaced, but felt their second-half display provided a basis to build on.
He said: ``I'm disappointed that the things we've worked on this week haven't been put into practice - the defending early on was diabolical.
``They scored a couple of goals and `Cracks' could have been sent off. I gave them a rollicking at half-time and second half it was all about us. We either cut out the fundamental mistakes or we'll bring new people in."
