Influential winger Robert Snodgrass has signed a new long-term contract with Leeds.

The 21-year-old, who joined the Elland Road club from Livingston in 2008, has penned the deal, which secures his future with the club until 2013.

"I had no worries because I had two years left and was happy here, but it's great to sign a new contract," he told the club's official website.

"It's been great since I came down here last summer and I really love the club. From the fans to the back-room staff and the other players, it's a great place to be and hopefully I can repay the faith that's been shown in me."
