Gillingham boss Mark Stimson is confident his side can retain their League One status after they boosted their survival hopes with a 3-2 win over promotion hopefuls Leeds.
Adam Miller, Mark Bentley and a Richard Naylor own goal handed the Gills a three-goal advantage, before Luciano Becchio`s strike and a Jermaine Beckford penalty set up a tense finale.
The Gills held on to edge closer to safety in 19th place and Stimson said: "Our destiny is in our hands now. We know that if we win all our games then we'll stay up and it will have been a great season."
He added: "From a manager`s point of view our home form is frustrating because we go away from home and can`t produce the same kind of form. But when this ground is packed, the atmosphere really gets going and (this match) was like that.
"To be three goals up in the first half against a team of Leeds` stature is obviously a great performance.
"Our two strikers were brilliant and it was easy for us to play off them and I thought the two centre-backs were brilliant was well."
