Swindon boss Danny Wilson has confirmed his interest in signing Bristol City striker Lee Trundle.

The former Swansea talisman has been told he has no future at Ashton Gate by City boss Gary Johnson and Wilson has targeted the Liverpudlian as a potential replacement for Simon Cox.

"Talks are ongoing so we'll have to wait and see if anything can develop, We've had numerous conversations with the club," Wilson told BBC Wiltshire.

"The boy [Trundle] is under contract for another two years, I think, so that is a major stumbling block."
