Tranmere´s board have taken the unusual step of releasing a statement to criticise manager Brian Little for not spending enough money following the club´s poor start to the season.Having finished third in League One last season before being knocked out of the play-off semi-finals, the Wirral club now find themselves in 21st place following a 2-1 defeat by fellow strugglers MK Dons at the weekend.Chairman Lorraine Rogers admits to being frustrated by the situation and said: "Unlike some other clubs, we have financial stability and money to spend. We are under-performing and it can´t be allowed to continue. We will be meeting with Brian to discuss this."
