Swindon winger Lloyd Macklin has joined League Two side Torquay on a month-long loan deal.

The 18-year-old has seen his first-team chances limited following his recovery from a leg fracture earlier this season and is eager to get some valuable game time under his belt at Plainmoor.

He told Swindon's official website: "I'm pleased to have the opportunity to get some first-team football. It's been hard for me to get back in the team here since my injury so I'm hoping to get down there and do well, then come back here after the month and start challenging for a place again."
