Striker Kayleden Brown has returned to West Brom following the end of his one-month loan spell at Tranmere.

Brown made five appearances in his time at Rovers, including a substitute appearance in Saturday's 1-0 home win over Peterborough.

Boss Les Parry said: "Kayo did well for us. We had a chat with West Brom and considered holding on to him."

He added: "But he's away with the Welsh Under-21s for 10 days and then a week after that he goes away with them again for a European Championships qualifier.

"So even if we'd have wanted to keep him we'd have had him for about 14 days out of the next 30 so that swung the pendulum against keeping him."
