Bristol Rovers first-team coach Paul Trollope was pleased to see Danny Coles crown his comeback from injury with a goal in Saturday's 2-0 win over Stockport.

The 27-year-old headed home a Stuart Campbell corner eight minutes in to banish the memories of spending nearly a year on the sidelines with a knee injury.

"Danny has had a long, hard road back to fitness after his knee injury, but we are pleased with the way things have gone so far," Trollope told the Bristol Evening Post. "We've been able to take care of him through pre-season, and it was pleasing for him to get a goal."
