Colchester have signed Ashley Vincent from Cheltenham on a three-month loan deal.
The Us beat off competition from MK Dons to land the winger, who will also be available for the League One play-offs if required.
"Ashley is someone I have seen play a few times," Us boss Paul Lambert told the club`s official website.
"He played well against us in both matches with Cheltenham. We need a bit of speed in the team and Ashley gives us that."
Vincent will not be available to face Leicester on Saturday due to a knee injury but should resume training next week.
