Charlton winger Scott Wagstaff has signed a new two-year contract.

The 21-year-old, who scored 10 goals in 49 appearances last season, has committed himself to The Valley until 2013.

"I'm pleased to get things sorted out and delighted to sign a new deal," he told the club's official website.

"I've been at the club for a long time and hopefully this season will be a good one for Charlton."

Manager Chris Powell added: "I like Scott and I'm really pleased he is going to continue his education here.

"He's a young player with talent, he got double figures last year which is a good return for a wide player and he can also do a job up top."
