Yeovil midfielder Andy Welsh has agreed a new two-year contract with the League One outfit.

The much-travelled 26-year-old made 38 appearances in total for the Glovers last term following his switch from Blackpool.

Welsh, who will officially sign the deal on July 1, told the club's official website: "I like it down here in Yeovil and I have enjoyed playing for the team."

He added: "I'm really looking forward to settling in the area and I can't wait for the start of the new season."

Manager Terry Skiverton added: "I'm really pleased to have agreed a new deal with Andy.

"He's been here with us for a season and I am sure he will go on and make a significant contribution to the squad next season."
