Wycombe have doubts over a trio of forwards ahead of the visit of Brentford.

On-loan Bristol City striker John Akinde (ankle) and Matt Harrold (knock) both missed the surprise 2-0 win at Millwall at the weekend through injury and remain doubtful.

Jon-Paul Pittman started at The Den but came off with an injury so Stuart Beavon could make his first start since September.

Gareth Ainsworth earned a man-of-the-match award on his debut on Saturday and will continue on the right of midfield, while Chris Westwood celebrated his recent recall to the side by scoring a powerful header.

Westwood`s resurgence means that Michael Duberry will continue to miss out as Gary Waddock looks to build on his first win in charge of the Chairboys.

Brentford look set to be without Myles Weston. The winger limped out of Saturday's 1-1 draw against Walsall with a hamstring strain and is a major doubt.

Goalkeeper Lewis Price missed out at the weekend through illness and is available, although he is likely to have to settle for a place on the bench with Arsenal loanee Wojciech Szczesny set to keep his place after an encouraging debut.

Another new loan signing, Ipswich centre-half Pim Balkestein, impressed alongside youngster Karleigh Osborne in a new-look back four with Alan Bennett dropping to the bench again.

Midfielder Sam Saunders and striker Carl Cort will push for places in the squad after missing out completely on Saturday.
