Swindon boss Danny Wilson admits his side would struggle in the absence of Simon Cox - but is already planning for life without the striker.

Cox scored 32 goals last term, making him a highly sought after target this summer. In the event of the hitman leaving the County Ground, Wilson has called upon all areas of the team to make up for the potential goal shortfall and is also assessing potential transfer options.

He told the Swindon Advertiser: "I think the biggest problem we're going to have is losing 30 goals in the team if Simon Cox departs."

He added: "We have to try and get goals back into the team in areas where we didn't contribute as much last season.

"Also we've got one or two irons in the fire where we think we can address the situation if we do lose Simon."
