Whoever brought that into this stadium wants kicking out...

Swindon manager Danny Wilson condemned the spectator who released a flare in the visitors' seated area during his side's 0-0 Leyton Orient.

The incident occurred during a brief delay while a player was being treated and resulted in stewards rushing to the scene to put out the blaze.

Wilson said: "Whoever brought that into this stadium wants kicking out. It was absolute stupidity. Our fans are brilliant, but whichever individual brought that in should be locked up.

"Luckily, it landed where there were no supporters. Whether he threw it there on purpose I do not know. It was in a segregation area and could have caught fire quite easily. We don't want to see such an incident again."

Wilson, was however, pleased his side had earned a point away from home an evenly contest encounter.

He added: "It was a tough game, there was nothing between the sides. It was a battle for both sides. A point away from home we cannot complain."
