Gudjon Thordarson has taken three more players on trial at Crewe after deciding against offering Floribert N'Galula and Nathan Koo-Boothe a contract.

Former Preston and Nottingham Forest midfielder Adam Nowland, ex-Port Vale man Craig Rocastle and Faroe Islands international Jonas Tor Naes all played in the second half of the 1-1 draw with Nantwich on Sunday.

"They will train with us over the next few days and we'll see where they are at in terms of their fitness and ability," said Thordarson.

He added: "They all played 45 minutes and it is always difficult to judge them totally on that.

"They all have potential but we'll have to wait and see."
