Paul Arnison hopes he has done enough during his 10-day trial at Darlington to earn a deal with the Quakers.

The right-back has fallen down the pecking order at current club Bradford and has been told by boss Stuart McCall that he is free to leave.

"I've been here now for 10 days and played two matches," Arnison told Bradford's official website. "Nothing has been said yet about a contract but we've got a game on Wednesday as well and hopefully I'll find out soon."

Arnison, 31, last played during the Quakers` 7-2 mauling at the hands of a star-studded Newcastle on Saturday.

"They moved the ball really well and it was a good experience to face players like Nicky Butt and Kevin Nolan," he added.
