Barnet may have defender Ismail Yakubu available for the visit of Aldershot.

Yakubu lasted just four minutes of last week's clash with Torquay before collapsing with a back spasm which forced him to be hospitalised. However, after the midweek trip to Accrington fell foul of the weather he may be fit enough to feature.

Midfielder Mark Hughes is on standby to again fill in alongside veteran Gary Breen if required.

Fellow defender Clovis Kamdjo is recovering from knee surgery and could be back in training inside a fortnight, so Hughes is first choice to deputise if Yakubu continues to be troubled.

Winger Albert Adomah put in his best performance in several weeks at Notts County last Saturday as he faces up to the prospect of staying at Underhill until the end of the season and boss Ian Hendon will hope for more from him as the Bees bid to win for the first time in 15 games.

Striker John O'Flynn will be available after he turned down a #100,000 move to Shrewsbury on transfer deadline day while David Livermore could feature after joining the club on a free transfer on Thursday.

Aldershot boss Kevin Dillon is considering making a change in goal.

Dillon signed Stephen Henderson on loan from Bristol City on transfer deadline day and he is vying for the right to replace regular number one Mikhael Jaimez-Ruiz.

Elsewhere, fellow Bristol City loanee Marlon Jackson is set to miss out after he injured his knee in the 1-1 draw with Grimsby last weekend.

Initial scans have revealed that Jackson suffered ligament damage and could be out for around a fortnight. Marvin Morgan replaced him last weekend and could start in his place.

Midfielder John Halls remains out with a groin strain while striker John Grant is doubtful after he suffered a recurrence of an earlier toe injury against Grimsby.

A win against Barnet could see the Shots climb back into the League Two play-off places.
