Brentford have called a press conference for Friday morning in the wake of reports that former BBC chief Greg Dyke is to become chairman of the club.Dyke, who resigned as director general of the Corporation following the 2003 Hutton Inquiry into the death of Iraq arms expert Dr David Kelly, is believed to have contributed substantial funds to ´Bees United´, the supporters trust who need to raise £1million to buy the majority shareholding from owner Ron Noades.A Brentford spokesman confirmed "all the major players" were holding takeover talks today.
