Kevin Bond will ask for a little help from his friends as he embarks on his managerial career while attempting to rid himself of the stigma surrounding his involvement in the Panorama controversy. The 49-year-old has signed a contract until the end of the season at Coca-Cola League One side Bournemouth, just 16 days after he was fired from his role as assistant manager at Newcastle in the wake of the BBC´s probe into corruption in the game.Bond admitted he was concerned his part in the Panorama programme would affect his chances of landing the job, but insisted he was ready to take on the challenge of management. "I know I haven´t done anything wrong and you hope the people who know you well, like the people at Bournemouth do, have the same faith and disregard the negative stuff," he said.
