Bournemouth midfielder Mark Molesley could miss the rest of the season with a foot injury.

The 28-year-old has not played since October 24 with a growth on one of the bones of his foot, and has been wearing an air cast ever since in a bid to rectify the problem.

But scans on Tuesday showed that their has been no improvement to Molesley's foot and, if he cannot prove his fitness over the next fortnight, his campaign could be over.

"The scans show that the injury is the same as it was," a club spokesman said. "If things don't improve then he could miss the rest of the season."
