Bradford will not contest on-loan defender Andrew Davies' red card at the weekend.

The Stoke centre-half was dismissed for a tackle on Torquay's Danny Stevens during the Bantams' 1-0 victory at Valley Parade.

Boss Phil Parkinson told the club's official website: "We have looked at the incident and we've decided not to appeal. There was no contact with the player whatsoever and on another day it might not even have been a foul. What we have to be careful of is that we don't appeal and then get done for a frivolous appeal and get an extra game (added to the ban)."

Davies will now serve a three-game ban, meaning he misses matches against Hereford, Northampton and Macclesfield.
