Hereford boss Simon Davey has secured the signing of defender Janos Kovacs from Luton on a two-year deal.

Kovacs, 24, becomes the Bulls' first acquisition since Davey's arrival at Edgar Street last week. The Hungarian only arrived at Kenilworth Road from Lincoln in January but featured 17 times for the Hatters in the Blue Square Premier last term.

He told Hereford's official website: "I am thrilled at the opportunity of playing back in the Football League; from the first meeting I had with Simon Davey knew this is where I wanted to be playing next season. I am flat hunting this week and cant wait to get started."
