Wycombe will be without Lewis Hunt for at least two months after the defender broke a metatarsal in his foot.
The 26-year-old suffered the injury in Wycombe's 1-1 draw with Exeter on Boxing Day and could be sidelined until March.
Since making his debut against Barnet in October, Hunt has secured the right-back berth and helped Wycombe build an eight-point lead at the top of League Two.
Hunt joined the Wanderers on a free transfer from League One side Southend in the summer and has made 13 appearances for the club.
