Martin Riley is expected to be back in contention for Cheltenham when they host Gillingham on Sunday.

The central defender has not played for a month due to his troublesome hamstring problem but is finally back in the first-team fold having returned to full training last week.

Riley`s return means manager Mark Yates has a full-strength squad to select from for the encounter.

On-loan winger Jake Thomson has returned to Exeter following the end of his month-long spell at Whaddon Road and will therefore not be available.

Cheltenham went down 2-1 to Gillingham`s promotion rivals Torquay in midweek, with Yates naming the same XI who triumphed 3-2 at Bury last weekend.

And the Robins will be looking for his side to improve on their uninspiring home form - having won just one of their previous nine - when they host Andy Hessenthaler`s outfit.

Danny Spiller is back in the Gillingham squad.

The midfielder has been on the sidelines since January with a broken finger but came through 75 minutes of a reserve match in midweek to prove his fitness.

Defender Danny Jackman is back in full training after an ankle injury and could also be involved.

Centre-half Josh Gowling will need a late check on a dead leg while striker Dennis Oli was suffering with a stomach bug in midweek but should be available.

Defender Tony Sinclair has had an injection in a bid to speed up his recovery from an ankle injury but he will not be fit in time to travel.
