Frankie Artus is suspended for Chesterfield`s home game against Lincoln.

The on-loan Bristol City midfielder was sent off in the closing stages of the first half during last weekend`s 1-0 win at Morecambe and must serve a one-match ban.

Defender TJ Moncur, midfielder Danny Boshell and striker Adam Rundle all come into the reckoning after joining this week.

Moncur, who can play at right-back and centre-half, has signed on non-contract terms until the end of the season while Boshell and Rundle have agreed deals for the remainder of the campaign after being released by Grimsby and Rochdale respectively.

Drew Talbot (ankle) and Wade Small (knee) have resumed training but this game may come too soon for the forwards.

Lincoln face an anxious wait to see if defenders Nathan Baker and Adam Watts will be fit for the trip.

The centre-halves were forced off with ankle and hamstring injuries respectively during the midweek defeat at Hereford and the Imps will have something of a defensive crisis should they fail to recover in time.

Their absence would leave youngsters Moses Swaibu and Danny Hone as the only fit central defenders at the club after Janos Kovacs was allowed to join Luton last month.

Swaibu has been a regular in the squad this season with just four of his 18 league and cup appearances coming from the bench.

Hone, a former trainee at Chesterfield, has started seven matches but he has not featured at all since a 3-1 defeat at Morecambe on October 31.

On-loan midfielder Chris Herd missed the Hereford game with a knock and boss Chris Sutton will hope he is able to return.
