Brentford striker Billy Clarke is out to fire the Bees to promotion and secure his playing future for next season.
The 21-year-old loanee is in the shop window having been told that his contract with Ipswich will not be renewed when it expires in the summer.
"Hopefully I can keep playing well, get Brentford promoted and we will see what happens," he said. "Every player wants to make the step-up from League Two to League One, and then the Championship."
He added: "We are top of the league and we probably have an easier run-in than other teams behind us.
"It's in our own hands, we need to start winning games and concentrate on that rather than worrying about winning the league."
