Notts County manager Steve Cotterill revealed he was giving his players three days off after seeing them move up to fourth place following a 1-0 win over Chesterfield.
The only goal came from Ben Davies, who fired a 20-yard strike into the bottom corner in the 20th minute.
Cotterill was elated after beating the division's in-form team and said: "There were a few moments in the game when my heart-rate was racing but it was an all or nothing derby and there wasn't an inch between the teams until Ben Davies showed his quality with a tremendous finish."
He added: "Although people say we are 'money-bags' Notts County, we are operating with a core group of just 13 or 14 players and each one of them has been magnificent since I arrived."Peter Taylor
Bradford manager Peter Taylor admitted his players had let their standards slip following their 2-1 defeat at Port Vale.
The Bantams, who had won two of their previous three matches under new boss Taylor, took the lead in the first half through on-loan Liverpool defender Robbie Threlfall's free-kick, but Marc Richards equalised for Vale and the home side secured the win thanks to a stunning Rob Taylor strike.
Taylor said: "Port Vale deserved to win and we played poorly. No-one wants to play poorly, but sometimes it happens. We set our standards in beating Rochdale and Rotherham, when I really enjoyed watching the boys play, but we fell well below those standards in this game."Billy Kee
Accrington Striker Billy Kee revealed his side were disappointed by their 1-1 draw with Macclesfield and were left to rue a string of missed chances.
Kee's 65th-minute strike put Stanley ahead before Matthew Tipton scored a penalty 13 minutes later after Phil Edwards was adjudged to have handled in the area.
Kee said: "We've got a point but we are disappointed. We had chances to finish them off and it's just not happening for us at the moment. We are not having any luck."
