Byron Moore's ankle injury will keep the Crewe forward out for up to five weeks, caretaker boss Dario Gradi has confirmed.

Moore was forced out of the 1-1 draw at Torquay on Saturday after only nine minutes and scans have since revealed the 21-year-old suffered ligament damage.

"We are looking at four or five weeks, so hopefully he will be back before the end of the campaign," Gradi told the club's official website. "It's a blow for Byron because he had got himself back in the team, but we have players in the squad to cover for his loss."
