New signing Damien McCrory will make his debut for Dagenham as they host in-form Northampton.

McCrory signed for a five-figure fee from Plymouth on transfer deadline day and will start at left-back in place of Jamie Day who has returned to Peterborough after his loan period ended.

Manager John Still has no fresh injury concerns and will name an otherwise unchanged side from the one which played Notts County 10 days ago after last weekend's trip to face Lincoln was frozen off.

Midfielder Stuart Thurgood has been sent to see a specialist after failing to make progress from a knee operation so on-loan Portsmouth midfielder Marlon Pack will continue in central midfield alongside Danny Spiller.

Defenders Will Antwi (thigh) and Anwar Uddin (ankle) have restarted training but this game is too early for their involvement.

Northampton manager Ian Sampson is waiting on the fitness of top scorer Adebayo Akinfenwa.

Akinfenwa - who has scored 10 goals this season - missed the 1-1 draw with Burton last weekend with a calf injury and Sampson has given him a 70% chance of being fit to start.

If Akinfenwa is ruled out, Irish striker Stephen O'Flynn will be handed his first start for the club after impressing as a second-half substitute last week.

Fellow new signing Kevin Thornton is also pushing for a full debut after he struck the crossbar with a 30-yard free-kick against Burton but Sampson is loathe to make too many changes after seeing his side go on a nine-match unbeaten run.

Winger Liam Davis returned from a broken metatarsal in the reserves in midweek but is not yet fit enough to be considered while striker Steve Guinan remains out as he recovers from a hernia operation.
