Dagenham manager John Still has hailed goalkeeper Tony Roberts after the 40-year-old agreed a new contract extension to stay with the Daggers.
Roberts played his 450th game for the club in the 1-1 draw at Lincoln in midweek and could shatter the 500 mark after agreeing the new deal.
"We're pleased with how he's going and we've agreed to carry on for next season," Still said. "He's a credit to the club and a credit to his profession. The thing with Tony is that he is a model of consistency, he doesn't make many mistakes and to reach 450 games is a great achievement."
Still added: "I also think he knows that in Chris Lewington we have a very good goalkeeper in reserve who is pushing him hard, so he needs to keep up his levels as it keeps him on his toes."
