Rochdale have signed French striker Marc Manga on non-contract terms until January 2010.
Manga, 21, has impressed Dale boss Keith Hill in training and in reserve encounters against Tranmere and Preston.
"He is a good football player and very gifted," said Hill. "Marc will offer us something different because he is a good link player, something we perhaps don't have at the moment. He is primarily a goalscoring striker who is a very clever player too."
