A goal in each half from Gregg Blundell and Michael Cummins rewarded an impressive Darlington display with a 2-1 win over Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Stadium.Blundell opened the scoring in fortunate fashion after seven minutes when Steve Phillips saved his shot, but the ball rebounded back onto him and into the net. There was nothing lucky about Cummins´ superb chip from the corner of the box which caught Phillips flat-footed 20 minutes from time. Craig Disley fired Rovers´ consolation after 88 minutes.
