Port Vale have signed Craig Davies on a month-long loan deal from Brighton.
The 24-year-old, who has played for Stockport, Oldham, Oxford and Italian side Verona, will go straight into the squad for Saturday's clash with Rochdale.
Manager Micky Adams told the club's official website: "Craig has height and pace and will certainly provide another attacking dimension for us, as well as competition for places in the attacking third."
He added: "He is a player who I have worked with before and I believe he has all of the attributes to be successful at this level."
