Lee Frecklington has denied he ever questioned whether a move to Peterborough would be in his best interests.

The 23-year-old Lincoln midfielder, who completed a three-month loan deal at London Road this week, revealed he cannot wait to join the Posh's promotion challenge.

Frecklington said: "I have never said that Peterborough was a sideways move and I'm delighted to be a Peterborough player."

He continued:"Everybody knows that this club is moving in the right direction and any player would want to be a part of what they are trying to do here.

"I know from playing against Peterborough in the past that they have fantastic supporters who are very loyal and I'm looking forward to getting onto the pitch and showing what I can do.

"I have enjoyed my time at Lincoln City, they gave me my chance in the Football League and I will always be grateful to them for that, but I'm 23-years-old and I'm looking to progress as a footballer and this move is a great one for me."
