Grimsby manager Neil Woods has made his first signing of the summer with the capture of Michael Coulson, subject to a medical.
The 22-year-old, who scored five goals in 29 appearances during a loan spell at Blundell Park last season, has signed a two-year deal.
"Michael was very keen to come to the football club and I am pleased that it has now been done," Woods told the club's official website.
"He was excellent last season and there is a lot, lot more to come from him."
