Boss Ian Hendon insists Barnet are not feeling the pressure of the relegation dogfight after Grimsby narrowed the gap between them and the Bees to just four points.
Barnet have been dragged closer to the dreaded drop zone after a 1-0 home defeat to Rotherham and after Grimsby won 2-0 at already-relegated Darlington.
The Bees travel to Blundell Park for a crunch six-pointer next weekend, and Hendon said: "I am sure Grimsby would much rather be in our position as it's all still in our own hands."
He added: "We aren't worried about Grimsby, I didn't even let the players know the score of that game because it is irrelevant what they do up there as long as we do our job properly."
On the defeat to Rotherham, Hendon added: "This was a disappointing afternoon for us - we have set out all week to play a certain way and then seven or eight lads dont turn up for us.
"There aren't too many of them coming out of that game with much credit at all. It was well below-par."
