Andy Holt grabbed a second-half equaliser as Northampton maintained their unbeaten run with a 1-1 draw at home to Burton.
Shaun Harrad opened the scoring for the visitors in the 53rd minute, but Holt levelled late on before Kevin Thornton struck the underside of the bar for the Cobblers with an injury-time free-kick.
Billy McKay, Holt and Courtney Herbert all went close in the first half for Northampton, while Harrad was denied by Chris Dunn at the other end.
Harrad opened the scoring eight minutes after the interval when he turned and volleyed home from 15 yards with a clinical finish.
McKay hit the underside of the bar 10 minutes later and Luke Guttridge shaved a post with an 86th-minute free kick.
But Holt converted a cross from substitute Paul Rodgers two minutes later and Thornton almost won it for the hosts in stoppage-time.
