Burnley have allowed Steve Jones to join League Two promotion chasers Bradford on a month's loan.

Jones, 32, will go straight into the Bantams' squad for Saturday's FA Cup clash at Leyton Orient as cover for winger Omar Daley, who could be out for a month due to a hamstring injury.

Manager Stuart McCall said: "Steve is looking forward to coming and playing here and we can't wait to have him.

"He's got a good pedigree and plays mainly on the right, although he can also go up front."

Northern Ireland international Jones has just completed a month's loan at Huddersfield where he made four appearances before picking up an injury.

McCall added: "He is a good player who will certainly be a boost for us, particularly with Omar being out."
