Centre-back Simon King believes Gillingham will be in for a tough game in the play-offs whoever they end up facing.

The Gills are guaranteed to finish either fifth or sixth in the table ahead of the final game of the season at Rochdale on Saturday, and results this weekend will determine whether they will face two more games with Dale in the semi-final or a two-legged clash with Dagenham.

He told PA Sport: "Like everyone says, the play-offs are a complete lottery. It's about how you play on the day and I think we just need to concentrate on our own performance."

He added: "Having played both, Dagenham have got a different style to Rochdale, they look to turn teams a bit more whereas Rochdale play a bit more football, so I think equally they will both be very tough games whoever we play against.

"We'll have to be on our game.

"I was very impressed with Rochdale in the home game, I thought they played some good football.

"They are contrasting styles, so whoever it is on the day, we'll have to make sure we do the right things."
