Notts County have signed Matt Ritchie on loan from Portsmouth until the end of December.
Magpies manager Ian McParland has been keen to bring the winger to Meadow Lane for several months.
Ritchie has been at Pompey since the age of 13 having risen through the youth ranks at Fratton Park.
He has yet to make his first-team debut for the Premier League club but has featured for the reserves and has Football League experience after a loan spell at Dagenham last season where he scored 13 goals.
