Notts County manager Ian McParland is hoping to sign another "two or three players" next week to get League Two's big spenders back on course.

An 84th-minute equaliser by substitute Richard Walker earned Burton a deserved point and ended County's 100% home record and it also meant that McParland's men had taken only one point from the last available six.

McParland said: "Ideally, I would like to bring in two or three new players next week. I will ask the questions and we will see what happens."

He added: "I've said to the players that I have problems picking the team these days because there are so many options, but I'm still looking to strengthen.

"People are disappointed we have only managed to draw at home, but they have to realise that we're not going to win three or four nil every week.

"Burton had a couple of chances, but overall I thought we dominated the game. We needed a second goal after Karl Hawley gave us the lead, and when it didn't come bad defending let them in for the equaliser."
