Mike Newell is not sure his evidence will help the Football Association fight corruption in the game. The Luton manager caused controversy by alleging that agents and club officials regularly offer "sweeteners" to managers to hasten transfer moves. He will discuss the matter with the Football Association next week but admits he has no tangible evidence."I have nothing like that. It´s just what´s in my head," Newell told the Mail on Sunday. "There are people I have relayed conversations to and told about the incidents but no-one who was actually there."
