Northampton have been fined £1,000, half of which is suspended for the next 15 months, by the FA for failing to control their players.

The incident relates to an incident in the first half of Cobblers' 3-0 defeat to Aldershot, which saw players from both sides booked following a mass brawl.

The Cobblers admitted the charge from the game, which saw Kevin Thornton sent off in the 11th minute following a tackle on Anthony Sandell.
