Burton manager Paul Peschisolido praised his side's character after they came back to earn a point at Bradford.

Burton, who fought back to secure a draw at big-spending Notts County last Saturday, went behind after 24 minutes when Bradford striker James Hanson headed the ball into the path of Gareth Evans, who scored with an angled shot from the left. But in the 74th minute Paul Boertien equalised.

"Our first-half performance was terrible, but our second-half performance was fantastic and we showed great character to come back and equalise and we could have nicked it at the end with a bit more composure," said Peschisolido.

"We were under a lot of pressure in the second half and Bradford threw a lot of balls into the box, which we had to deal with.

"They have some hard-working players who show a lot of energy and pace. I don't think many teams will come here and get points."
