Plymouth have recalled striker Ashley Barnes from his loan spell at Torquay.
Barnes had made six appearances for the Gulls but has now been recalled by Plymouth head coach Paul Mariner given he is short of bodies in attack.
"We have brought Ashley Barnes back from Torquay because the squad is light," Mariner confirmed on the club's official website.
He added: "Barnesy can play in quite a variety of positions and we just need that option at the present moment."
