Mark Robins was dreaming of another Carling Cup quarter final for Rotherham United after they sunk Derby at the Don Valley Stadium.

The Millers pulled off a series of shocks last season on the way to reaching the last eight, and the League Two side showed they have lost none of their thirst for success by beating Nigel Clough’s men 2-1.

“There is no doubt about it, we have beaten a good side in Derby and we have played some good football along the way,” he told www.themillers.co.uk.

“Everyone is delighted in the dressing room and rightly so.

“The atmosphere was brilliant right from the start with both sets of supporters playing their part.

“We started brightly and they scored with their first shot of the game, and we had to cope with one or two decisions that went against us.

“I think the shape of the Derby side helped us a little bit because it allowed us to get our forward thinking players in the right areas.

“Everyone has played their part and we will enjoy tonight but then get back down to business for the game on Saturday.”
